These are some of the things i have done

i work with startups which means I don’t sleep much

there is one way to hack happiness…

Have a kid

Reasons 1. they’re fun = happiness 2. they require time = structured break

and when they smile, it’s truly happiness

But actually the things i learned about how to be happy and repositioned my entire perspective in life

was in the military

So the things i’ve learned are these

1. it could always be worse

2. Tomorrow is an opportunity for a better day

3. think in the present

4. discipline your thinking

5. remind thyself of these values

this approach doesn’t work for everyone but if it’s good enough for the Army, it’s good enough for me
