Abstract Organizations today need to be more responsive. People are more connected than ever before. The world has become a giant network, with people sharing, learning, and making decisions on the go at every second. What if you, and every person in your company could work together, like a network? What might that look like and how might social enterprise technology play a role? While many organizations understand the benefits social technology can provide it’s often not as clear how we can go about implementing these technologies in a way that complements our organizations investments in powerful collaborative technologies like SharePoint. SharePoint is used as an enterprise collaboration platform in almost every organization, yet many organizations are still in the process of deciding why and when they should implement some of the new social capabilities or how best to leverage Social technologies like Yammer with their current investments. Join Richard Harbridge as he shares Microsoft’s vision for Enterprise Social and the future of work. Richard will explain how and where customers are investing in social, what is changing and important to understand, and what technology investments have been made and are being made by Microsoft to help customers connect and work in a cloud first and mobile first world.
