The second largest country in the world (after Russia) by land mass. (total area of 9.9 million sq. km)
Touches the Pacific, Arctic, and Atlantic oceans.
Two official languages: English and French.
Capital city is Ottawa, but the largest city is Toronto.
The name Canada comes from the old world “Kanata”, which means “village”.
National symbol is the maple leave.
